Events for young people & adults
We offer a range of events and activities for young people and adults to experience and learn about Islamic art. All our activities are free and open to all.
Meet museum staff
There are opportunities to meet museum staff in our Behind‐The‐Scenes tours and Thursday Late Tours.
Join a workshop
Workshops and courses in art and calligraphy are designed for you to learn about the MIA collection by creating your own artworks, inspired by historic pieces from Islamic civilisation.
Majlis Book Club
There are two book groups - one in Arabic and one in English. The books to be discussed, in some way link to Islamic Art, Museums or Arabic History.
