    THE TIGER'S
    DREAM

Palanquin Handle

This object was part of a sedan chair, which would have been used particularly for transporting high status women. The tiger head finial, with bared teeth, wide eyes and tiger stripes, strongly suggests that this handle was produced during the reign of Tipu Sultan.
