Events & Activities in MIA Park
Park events are now over for the Summer
Now that the weather is much hotter, the outdoor music performances and other park events for the season are finished. We are now planning a new programme to start in October 2016.
There will be new events and many of the regular ones returning once again. So look back to find out what exciting things we have arranged.
As well as our standard park activities including the Park Bazaar and regular concerts, there are frequent major events held in the Park. Check out the What’s on page for information on upcoming events. You can also get information first by joining us on Facebook, Twitter or Google+.

Guided Kayaking Tour of MIA and the Dhow Harbour
These guided tours are fun and exciting whilst also offering a different perspective of the MIA building and park from water level. The tour will be informative and educational, about the architecture, the architect IM Pei and highlight Richard Serra's “7” situated at the end of MIA Park.

PaddleFit combines outdoor functional fitness with stand up paddle board training (SUP) and kayaking training and techniques. Our goal is to provide you with a fun, challenging system that helps you achieve your fitness goals, improve your paddling technique. Classes are usually 2 to 3 times a week with introduction and beginners classes starting every few weeks. To learn more about this exciting paddling programme or to book please go to Paddle Qatar. There fitness classes in the park on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6 and 7pm. Open to all levels of fitness. Bootcamp is an intensive and fun way to train and also meet new people in the open and friendly group atmosphere.
Tuesday Ladies Day
On Tuesday at 5pm, an area of the park is only open to ladies. The classes are led by a qualified female personal trainer and will include a range of cardio and resistance exercises to enable improvements in general fitness and weight loss.
